UPC ANNOUNCES SEASON 2 PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Fans of the Ultimate Poker Challenge were asked to vote for the Season 2 Player of the Year. When the votes were tallied, John “The Razor” Phan of Long Beach, California, was the player who most impressed the fans – or should we say “phans”.

Born in Vietnam in 1974, John and his family left Southeast Asia and settle in Stockton, California, to see greater opportunities. Attracted to poker at an early age as a way of spending quality time with his family – and making a buck – John began making a living at it by the time he was 21. Since then, John has won more than 10 major tournaments, picking up more than $2 million along the way.
