Hoyt Corkins Hoyt learned to play poker during after school session with his father. Hoyt’s credits his father’s "no fear" style as the single thing that helped him win a 1992 World Series of Poker Championship in Pot-Limit Omaha. After his win, Hoyt left the game of poker. He returned to his native Alabama and raised cattle. He remained absent from the tables until the early 2000’s, when he finally resurfaced and quickly re-established himself as an elite professional. Hoyt’s passions are poker and his cattle. He lives his life between his home in Vegas and his ranch in Alabama. He also enjoys public speaking at Corporate Events.
