Todd Brunson Todd Brunson is the son of poker legend Doyle Brunson. After spending three years studying law at Texas Tech, Todd announced to his family that he was dropping out to become a poker player. At 21 Todd won his first big tournament, proving that he had the skills to play on a professional level. He won his first WSOP bracelet in 2005 Todd's dominance in stud eight-or-better led his legendary father to select him to write that section of his book Super System II.
